Description

Join us on Monday, May 8, June 5, July 10, and August 14, from 7:00-9:00pm to pray with the hand-illuminated images and text of the St. John's Bible using Ignatian tools for prayer. Regis College is privileged to own one of the 299 fascimiles of the St. John's Bible, the first complete Bible to be scribed and illuminated by hand in more than 400 years. The original combines medieval artistic techniques with contemporary theological reflection in a visual medium.

Open to young adults (18-39 years old).

The night will begin with a talk about the St. John's Bible, the passage selected, and an Ignatian tool of prayer. Then, there will be a time of prayer with the Scripture passage in adoration in the Regis College Chapel. The night will then conclude with a social in the Student Lounge.
